Re-frame Problems And There May Be No Need to Solve Them

The problem:
Squirrels were eating far more of the birdseed than the birds.

So, I researched online for “squirrel-resistant bird feeders,” consulted with neighbors, sought advice at the local feed store.
Yes, there were ways to safeguard the birdseed from the pesky little critters and make them go away. Hooray!

Then I realized that I actually enjoy watching the squirrels more than the birds. The little arboreal acrobats have caused me to laugh out loud at their antics.
Birdseed seems a small price to pay for such entertainment.

I suspect this is true of many of my “problems.” Adjust my perspective on the situation, and I'd find there’s no longer a problem to be solved.

Heading off to work this morning with reframing on my mind…
